Siwa Dried Hibiscus

Sun-dried hibiscus petals bursting with deep crimson flavour.

Hibiscus — known in Egypt as كركاديه — has been brewed across the Nile Valley for centuries. Siwa's dry desert climate and low humidity create ideal conditions for sun-drying: vivid crimson colour, intense tart flavour, and well-preserved anthocyanin and vitamin C content. Our hibiscus is sun-dried at low temperature to preserve its natural compounds, then sealed in our signature espresso-brown tin with a single food-grade silica gel sachet. Brew 1 tablespoon per 250ml of hot water for 5 minutes, or cold-brew overnight for a spectacular iced drink.
